Will it still hurt?
Once, I burnt myself with my GHD hair straightener, in the throes of titillating girly/newfound beauty regime goodness. I grabbed my ear with the hot irons and clamped down. The burn looked like a nasty bacterial infection on one of my ear piercings, and seemed to require tonnes of ointment, and took months to heal. You know what I didn’t do in the healing interim? Burn myself again just to see if it would still hurt.
